Villa Rosa is 30 minutes from the Port of Brindisi, 15 minutes drive from the historic town of Lecce (the Florence of the South) and within easy reach of places like Alberobello, Otranto and Gallipoli. This tranquil villa provides a peaceful haven for the perfect holiday all the year round.
Villa Rosa is a two bedroom (sleeping 4 - 6), detached villetta, standing in it's own walled, private gardens and surrounded by mature trees. Completely refurbished and fully equipped, with the added benefit of air-conditioning, Villa Rosa is the perfect place to relax at any time of the year.
Whether you want to relax by the swimming pool, explore the Port of Brindisi, the historic towns of Lecce and Otranto, visit "Trulli Country" or simply enjoy La Dolce Vita the way the Italians do, Villa Rosa is the place for you.
The private swimming pool (10m x 5m), can be found situated in the rear gardens, surrounded by sun drenched patios, with sun loungers, lilos and other pool toys. At the end of the courtyard there is are walled flower beds abundent with bourganvilla and other flowering shrubs. The lemon tree will provide freshly picked lemons for your G&T or freshly made lemonade for the children! At our home we are active gardeners and fresh produce and herbs are available, subject to what's in season!
Should you tire of the sunshine, wander by the house to the front gardens where a number of trees (including more lemon, tangerine, pear and pine trees!) provide a shady retreat. The patio here provides a perfect cool and shady setting to relax and enjoy lunch. The front gardens have been laid to lawn and extensively planted with flowering shrubs.
If you are a winter visitor, the wood burning fire place makes the kitchen / living room warm and welcoming. After a day exploring the delights of Puglia, imagine curling up in front of a log fire and relaxing.
An extensive library of English books, CDs, videos and DVDs, together with jigsaw puzzles and board games are provided for your entertainment. Villa Rosa has Satellite tv which provides english speaking channels.
On your arrival at Villa Rosa you will find a Welcome Basket, including local products and produce, to get you started on your first evening in Casalabate. You will be personally welcomed by Bob and Debbie, the English owners of Villa Rosa.
Bob and Debbie are available during your holiday to help in anyway to make your holiday at Villa Rosa special and memorable. They can make restaurant recommendations and reservations for you, provide directions to places you want to visit, arrange boat trips, etc. But rest assured, you will be left in peace to enjoy your holiday at the Villa Rosa.
Optionally, on your arrival at Brindisi or Bari airport, we can arrange for you to be met on arrival and provide assistance in collecting your hire car, driving you to Villa Rosa if required.
Before you arrive, if you wish, we can shop for you and stock the kitchen. We can arrange with Val and Mino, Puglia's Rent A Chef, for lunches and dinners to be catered for you if required.
