A small fishing village, with beach lidos, and the beaches that don't usually get too crowded. Roca Vecchia was once a thriving messapican city and archaeological excavations can be seen. Roca Vecchia is famous for "la Grotto della Poesia", the Cave of Poetry on the coast near the tower, not too far from the ruins of the old castle.

The Grotto is more easily accessible by sea and has many inscriptions from across the ages on its walls.
