We'd hate to think that you would have to cancel your holiday for any reason or that you might need medical care while you are in Puglia, but in case you do, consider taking out the relevant insurance.
Many airlines automatically offer you travel insurance when you buy your tickets, do check carefully what is included and any particular circumstances that are excluded. If you travel more than once a year it's worth considering an annual travel policy. An annual travel policy can be purchased from a number of different companies as well as from your local post office. You can compare the costs of annual travel policy on websites like www.moneysupermarket.com.
You can find details of our cancellation policy in the terms and conditions. If you do have to cancel we will always try and rebook your cancelled week(s) at the same rate and if we do then we will refund the full amount to you, minus an admin fee. With late cancellations we may need to discount the week(s), in which case we will refund the reduced amount to you. Sadly sometimes it's not possible to rebook late cancellations in which case a refund will only be paid in accordance with our terms and conditions. If you have good travel insurance, and depending on the reason for cancellation, then you should be able to claim the villa rental as well as your travel costs.

If you are resident in another European country and entitled to healthcare in your country of residence then you should ensure that you have your country's equivalent of the EHIC. In Italy this is the Tessera Sanitaria,
You should always check to see if you need any additional top-up insurance and if you are travelling to Italy from a country outside the European Union then you may need to make your own health cover arrangements.
