Ostuni : Ristorante Portanova

The restaurant Portanova situated in the heart of Ostuni is in a tower  with a large terrace and panoramic views overlooking the valleys of olive trees and Ostuni marina in the distance. Opened in 1989 this a charming place where you can enjoy the seafood specialities proposed by the owner. There is good wine list, with regional and national wines.

"Mostly fish and seafood, and very good; elegant setting; attentive service. A multi-course tasting menu: the "degoustazione di antipasti" will give three slightly smaller versions of the chef's handiwork; well worth it. One drawback, the restuarant seems to be straining towards Michelin star food, and one main course was definitely more style than substance!"
